Alignment With Social Change Essay

Alignment and Social Change
The researcher must be able to critically evaluate research and be able to logically connect research components. The connection between different research components is referred to as research alignment. The alignment between methods used in data collection and other components to a research can be evaluated by examining these four primary ideas i.e. the strategy, the conceptual framework, procedures and tools used for the research, and what or who the study is focused (Adom, Hussein & Agyem, 2018). Research design embodies the initial project stage and entails thinking logically through the entire research process from where it starts to where it will end (Pavelek, 2013). The alignment between data collection and other research components can verified through careful examination of whether the strategy, conceptual framework, procedures and tools used for the research are adequate enough to answer the research questions, solve the research problem, and comply with the purpose of research.
Questions such as; is the problem legitimate? Do the research questions help find solutions to the research problem? Is the research strategy and tools used effective in solving the research problem? Does the research design set the framework for the entire research? must be answered in order...

By answering these questions it will be possible to validate and authenticate the data collection methods used and possibly adjust the research tools appropriately to help in effectively solving the research problem. The basic criteria for evaluation of the alignment of data collection methods with other components of research are examining research strategy, the conceptual framework, procedures and tools. As an agent of positive social change, the acquired research knowledge and skills can help me explore possible solutions to current social problems like the problem of drug abuse, racial discrimination and other social injustices.
